On or under the nails?
The phrase probably goes back to the medieval custom among monks who stuck small wax candles on the nails of their thumbs so that they could read better at early mass.
Both expressions are now considered common and correct. We found one of many stories of meaning as "GEO lino". With a click on the picture on the right, the complete story, from it: "The phrase" burn on your nails "is used when something urgent is important that is personally meaningful."

We sometimes express what is on our minds or under our nails on "Facebook" or "Twitter". Perhaps at some point we will also send a BLOG - probably not.
In 2021, we all have the great opportunity to vote freely in numerous regions of the Federal Republic of Germany.
State elections in Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate, as well as local elections in Hesse, will take place on March 14 (presumably).
The state elections in Saxony-Anhalt will then (presumably) follow-on June 6th. Local elections will take place on September 12th (presumably) in Lower Saxony and on September 26th (presumably) the elections to the Berlin House of Representatives, comparable to the state parliaments, and also the elections to the Berlin district council meetings, comparable to the municipal elections. In addition, a new state parliament will (probably) be elected on September 26th in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and (probably) the state election in Thuringia originally planned for April. On the same day, nationwide members of the German Bundestag become members newly elected.
It is completely irrelevant what gender and what sexual orientation the respective applicants for the mandate have or what religion they belong to. What skin color or origin, what marital status they have is also irrelevant. You must have German citizenship, have no criminal record and commit to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Who should we give our precious and precious voice to?
No matter what everyone decides for himself, it is essential to exercise
